Stephanie Anderson, Partner

Stephanie is the founder and president of Knowledge Design Group a performance consulting and learning services firm. Incorporated in November 2000, the corporate offices are located in Emmaus and service the Northeast, as well as national markets.

Stephanie and her team have completed numerous customized enterprise learning projects. Some of their clients include: PPL, Air Products and Chemicals, The National Center for Education and the Economy, The National Institute for School Leaders, the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and Lehigh Valley Health Network Division of Education. From 1987 until 2000, Stephanie was the founder and former president of Anderson Associates who owned and operated a regional training and performance support company trading as Productivity Point International (PPI). This organization grew to be a $10.5 million company in 1999 employing 100 employees. PPI Allentown achieved a market share of 75 percent and was recognized for their high quality and innovative services through awards and recognition by Microsoft, ITTA, Air Product & Chemicals, PPL and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Allentown business model has been a key to establishing partnerships and alliances with numerous Fortune 1000 companies, government agencies and educational institutions throughout the U.S.

In 1997, together with 10 partners and Knowledge Universe, she participated in a merger of the 10 largest franchises and other acquisitions to form the “New PPI”. The new organization had annual revenues of $150 million and over 100 locations. After the merger, she was a senior manager reporting to the president. Her experiences include mergers and acquisitions, change management, organizational development, marketing and business development. She has been a regional manager responsible for 10 training centers in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania with revenues of $28 million, and a regional business development manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region with sales of $60 million from Pennsylvania to Florida.

In 1999 she became National Director of Business Services, she was responsible for practices in learning and support services for more than 100 offices nationally. Standards services were established through the development of an Enterprise Learning Framework that identified the components of a systematic approach to designing, developing, delivering, evaluating and supporting learning services throughout the PPI enterprise. In addition, she was responsible for change management, which included e-learning strategic planning activities.

Stephanie holds a BS in business management and education from Misericordia University and has completed advanced studies in educational psychology from Kutztown University. A commitment to life-long learning her knowledge in learning has grown through independent research, attendance at conferences and participation in numerous professional organizations, such as ASTD and ISPI.

George Anderson, Ed.D.

George is the co-founder of Knowledge Design Group. In this role he acts as the chief learning officer overseeing Strategic Planning, as well as the design, development and delivery of training and learning services.

Prior to this position he was senior vice president of organizational development for Productivity Point, a privately owned $150 million technology learning services company with 100 locations throughout North America. In this role he developed and coordinated a company-wide performance improvement plan. Prior to this, he was the North East General Manager responsible for sales, training delivery and operations for twelve offices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts and Maine with a revenue budget of $25 million.

As a co-founder and vice president of Anderson Associates, he managed Human Resources, Training Delivery and Operations for four training centers in Allentown, Harrisburg, Wilkes-Barre and Lancaster. Under his leadership the Allentown business unit grew to $11 million.

Prior to joining Anderson Associates, he had a career in public school education and administration. He was assistant superintendent of the Boyertown School District; in this role he developed, coordinated and completed the Strategic Planning Process. He also organized a plan to implement technology in the classroom, and supervised curriculum coordination and department heads in revising the scope and sequence of their K-12 curriculum plan. He served as Principal of Emmaus High School for 13 years. In this role he was responsible for providing the educational leadership to a staff of 105 professionals and a student population of 1,600.

George earned an Ed. D. in Educational Leadership and an M.A. in Math Education from Lehigh University (Bethlehem, PA) and a B.S. in Management from Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA).
